Dylan Hildebrand brings over 20 years of marine engineering experience to his projects, specializing in superyachts and commercial vessels such as ferries and cargo ships. As a Chief Engineer with expertise on vessels up to 3000 GRT and 9000kW, Dylan has led multiple superyacht new builds up to 280 feet, including work with Feadship and the first hybrid yacht build. He also works on both used and new Selene yachts, applying his extensive worldwide shipyard and cruising experience. Dylan is passionate about improving efficiency, sustainability, and safety in the marine industry, focusing on delivering superior owner and crew experiences through innovative engineering solutions.
Jeff Merrill grew up in a sailing family in Long Beach, CA, and competed on Stanford’s varsity sailing team. After graduation, he spent three years campaigning for the 1987 America’s Cup as a tactician and sailing coach. With over 30 years of experience in the marine industry, Jeff has worked in sales and marketing for various companies, including Pacific Seacraft and Nordhavn trawlers. In 2014, he founded Jeff Merrill Yacht Sales, Inc., focusing on cruising sailboats and trawlers. A renowned trawler specialist, Jeff has traveled the world to meet clients, log thousands of miles at sea, and catalog a vast image archive of trawlers. His expertise and friendly sales approach have earned him a strong reputation as a trusted advocate for his clients. Jeff is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker and a past president of the California Yacht Brokers Association.
Ian has been boating for much of his life both professionally and recreationally. He’s been working in the marine industry for the last twenty years in various capacities. Some of his roles have included working as vice president of operations and production manager for a marine maintenance software company, project manager and salesperson for the Selene Annapolis dealership, and as a sales associate in other sectors of the powerboat market. Through it all, customer service and satisfaction, as well as comprehensive project oversight have consistently been key elements of his professional life. Over the years, he’s also accumulated considerable time underway aboard various vessels, including at least 10,000 miles aboard Selenes, as well as some notable trips from Newfoundland to Ft. Lauderdale and Virgina to Cabo San Lucas. He’s also logged many other trips up and down the eastern seaboard. He’s excited to join Selene Americas as they reintroduce this capable, graceful, and proud brand!
Patrick and the team at Pacific Northwest Yachts have been working with Selene Yachts since 2008 and have been a dealer since 2014. They are based in Seattle with a full service operation. Patrick has extensive knowledge of Selene Yachts and enjoys helping connect people with the best Selene for them.
Paul Cifka is the cofounder and Chief Marketing Officer of Selene Americas. With over 25 years of experience in technology, marketing, and operations across various industries, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to the maritime sector. He holds a BA in International Business from Western Washington University and has studied abroad in Japan, enhancing his global perspective and strategic approach. Although his career has spanned multiple sectors, Paul’s leadership is crucial to positioning Selene Americas as a top brand in the luxury yacht market.
Wayne is a lifelong boater and has held a 100 ton Captain's license since 1986. He has cruised all over the world with his latest big trip originating in South Africa and traveling to Florida over 57 days. Wayne has sold boats in the San Francisco area and now is President of Selene Yachts Americas providing new boat sales and support for Selene across North America.
